Anna Simonton is a writer and editor who has worked at Scalawag and The Appeal. In 2019, she co-founded Press On, an organization dedicated to Southern movement journalism, where she is currently a board member. She is the co-author with Shani Robinson of “None of the Above: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Public Schools Cheating Scandal, Corporate Greed, and the Criminalization of Educators.”
